This Website

Welcome to the front page of Mastering the Dungeon! This website has been a long-term project of mine for a while now. Indeed, I hadn't planned to push a live version out for several years yet. However, it became apparent that some of what I had planned to host here can be done fairly quickly and is in high demand. The result is that we all get to live with a rushed and incomplete version of for a while.

What will this website be for now? Mainly a place for me to host some of the research I've done and tools I've developed to assist in running tabletop roleplaying games, with a focus on worldbuilding. These can be found under Resources. I may also leave a post on the Blog from time to time discussing my research process, or perhaps thoughts from recent games I've run or played in.

In the long term, my hope is to turn this website into an all-purpose resource for tabletop roleplaying games. In particular, the site was originally conceived of as centered around a podcast of the same name, though it will likely be a couple of years before work can even begin on that project.

In the meantime, I'm planning to incrementally professionalize the site. As it stands, things have been thrown together rather quickly. This process should consist mainly of minor aesthetic updates, so there should be no difficulty for visitors other than putting up with the present state of things.
